All individuals interested in weight loss surgery should have upper endoscopy to evaluate the stomach before performing either gastric bypass or gastric banding. We perform most of our endoscopies at Atlantic Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center is a certified state of art facility, designed to provide a full spectrum of outpatient endoscopic services in an efficient and comfortable environment. Once you enter our program for weight loss surgery, your endoscopy will be scheduled by our office and you should be notified of the time. AGEC personnel will also contact you to confirm the time and date of the procedure and take care of any insurance issues prior to the procedure.
